out of the ordinary

I've just discovered this video (released April 19 2010) and it certainly is qwirky to say the least! With eyes shut, the song is catchy but whilst watching the wacky video, it's hard to not get lost in the "effects".

iwatch

I'm not sure if this is still yet to materialize but regardless, it's another toy to add to your magical iworld. Could it replace the iphone?! Who knows, but Apple is certainly leading the way with another potential gadget.

glasto get-up

Whether you care or not you will most definitely come across Kate Moss's glasto attire at some point. I have to say I'm not too impressed with this year's grunge shabby 'chique' performance - the fishnet tights must surely be a nightmare...

croatia - the isturian peninsula

It looks stunning - and has definitely been (re)highlighted on my holiday destinations list. The article can be found online and the photography is courtesy of Vicki Couchman.

summer track

My boyfriend, Stefan, let me in on this tune and it's a definite winner - nice mix of dance digitalism with an artsy video.

Easy peasy success again for Kelis. My next buy if definitely going to be her new album shown here, Flesh Tones. You still can't beat the joy of buying a new cd, opening it and frantically playing the first 10 seconds of every song... or maybe that's just me!

In particular, being in Southern Spain - renowned for its elaborate celebrations, there has been almost too many to keep track of! The most recent and perhaps most spectacular in Granada, was this June for Corpus Christi which included a week long BONANZA of a fairground, street parties, tent parties, flat parties, beach parties and of course a visit to see one of the traditional bullfights. I hope this short home-made film does it justice.

simple but effective

A new friend told me about this video which I believe is quite an old gem (circa Belgium 1980's) and I love it. In fact, I've since felt the need to start some of my own mini-film making; it looks easy enough eh?! I thought I'd begin with this post and perhaps I'll add my first ever 'film' projects for your reviews - for now, have a gander at this...
