Fish Food

This afternoon Beth and I treated ourselves to a quick trip to visit the new spa that has become our next door neighbours. At Touch of Silk I had the chance to experience my first fish pedicure which was quite a bizarre sensation - it felt like little bubbles all over my footsies.

The Garra Rufa fish have been a natural treatment for those with skin problems since it was first discovered in the outdoor springs of Turkey. Nowadays its just a novice spa treatment. The little fish nibble away at the dead skin on your feet - poor soles ;) Everyone's a winner, they fill their bellies and leave you with supple, soft feet. Splendid.  For us it was a bit of a steal as the place is just opened and the fish need testing so we got almost an hour's worth for £10.
